PIER COVE RAVINE

The Ravine is maintained by the Pier Cove Ravine Trust Association.

.....Two views above of beech trees in the arboretum planted by O.C. Simonds in Pier Cove, Michigan a loooong time ago along the shores of Lake Michigan.  It is maintained as it was originally designed to this day.  O. C. (1855-1931) was a famous landscape architect and designed numerous properties in the midwest including several notable places in Chicago including Graceland Cemetery, the Morton Arboretum, Chicago gulf Club & Lincoln Park.
